Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) was set up in the year 1999 by The Embassy of India, Bahrain to ensure the general welfare of the Indian labourers in Bahrain. Since its inception, ICRF has been in the forefront to serve the downtrodden and deprived members of the Indian community. ICRF extends support to the underprivileged fellow countrymen/Indians in Bahrain in case of any contingency.
Over the past two decades, ICRF has successfully implemented many humanitarian activities. We have extended our support to over 50,000 Indian nationals in Bahrain. ICRF activities have evolved into a multifaceted organization, addressing the community requirements at large. ICRF’s community initiatives include medical support, legal support, community welfare support, student support services, body repatriations support, Yoga awareness programs, Family Welfare Fund disbursements and the SPECTRA art carnival (a Fundraising event). Moreover, we render emergency services such as supply of food rations, providing temporary shelter, domestic worker and immigrant protection and 24 hours helpline services in various languages
